Due to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine's handling requirements, which require it to be kept at -70 C, Nova Scotia chief medical officer Dr. Robert Strang on Tuesday said the manufacturer has specified for the first upcoming shipment of the vaccines, recipients must be immunized close to the site the product is stored at.
