It's believed to be the largest COVID-19 outbreak involving care home residents in B.C.'s Southern Interior since the pandemic began. Eight residents have tested positive for the virus at the McKinney Place long term care facility in Oliver. And tests are underway to determine if any other residents or staff members may also be carrying the virus. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, IHA is growing increasingly concerned as transmission is now occurring inside long term care facilities.
