Coronavirus: Former FDA commissioner weighs in on U.S. infection hotspots, CDC’s consideration to shorten quarantine time

Former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb appeared on CBS’ “Face The Nation” Sunday and said when compared to the rest of the U.S., the Midwest and the Dakotas are getting more new COVID-19 infections because of a lack of proactive health measures. He also weighed on the CDC’s consideration to shorten the recommended amount of time for quarantining.
