Influx in pet adoptions brings new issues to the forefront

Since the pandemic began eight months ago, pet adoptions have skyrocketed at local animal shelters. And while Peterborough Humane Society Executive Director Shawn Morey says that’s great news for animals looking for forever homes, that influx in adoptions has brought a few new issues to the forefront. He joined Global News Morning Peterborough to talk about the issue, and where their journey to construct a new building stands.
