From private, to public, back to private: The UCP is putting Alberta driver’s licence exams back into the hands of registries, after the NDP brought it under government control due to quality complaints. As Chris Chacon explains, Transportation Minister Ric McIver says the province is increasing government oversight to prevent issues that plagued the old private driver exam system, including fraud and under-trained examiners.
