Tensions are still running high between Indigenous and non-Indigenous commercial lobster fishers in Nova Scotia. After days of violent confrontations and dangerous incidents, including massive fire at a lobster plant used by Mi’kmaw fishers, more RCMP officers are now being sent in an attempt to de-escalate this complicated conflict.
