Trump Supreme Court nominee asked whether a president could pardon himself for a crime

President Donald Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett was asked whether a president should be able to pardon themselves of a crime, during the third day of her Senate confirmation hearing on Wednesday. The exchange, initiated by Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy began with a general question: “Would you agree that nobody is above the law, not the president, not you, not me?” Barrett responded that she agreed.
