During the United States vice presidential debate on Wednesday evening, an innocuous insect provided a moment of levity as, during an answer from U.S. Vice President Mike Pence on supporting law enforcement, a fly was seen landing on, and remaining affixed to, the head of the United States Vice President as he delivered his answer. The fly became so popular with debate watchers that it had already spawned a parody Twitter account before the debate had ended.
