Trump won’t condemn white supremacists during debate

During this year’s chaotic first U.S. presidential debate, U.S. President Donald Trump refused to condemn the Proud Boys, instead telling the white nationalist group to “stand back and stand by.” As Jackson Proskow reports, Trump tried backtracking the remarks, but the damage has already been done.
