U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said that as a Supreme Court justice, nominee Amy Coney Barrett would decide cases based on the text of the Constitution. He also hopes the Senate would provide a fair and timely hearing, saying he expects a prompt confirmation and said he was “sure it would be extremely non-controversial.”
