Well, it looks like 2020 is shaping up to be another bad year for animal bites within Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit’s region. The health unit is on pace to surpass 600 investigations for the second year in a row. In response to the increase, HKPR is launching a campaign meant to reduce the risk of animal bites, especially among children. Jessica Nyznik reports.
