A row of colourful houses on a downtown Halifax street is being sold. In March, city council decided not to register the area as a heritage streetscape after hearing opposition from property owners that the program doesn’t incentivize them enough to take on the registration. Now, some of those properties are for sale and face possible demolition. Alexa MacLean has more.
