Coronavirus: Ontario government providing $1.3 billion to support schools, $247 million to hire more school staff

The Ontario government is providing $1.3 billion to support schools during COVID-19, Premier Doug Ford announced on Tuesday. In addition, the provincial government will also be providing $247 million for schools to hire more staff to help keep children safe, physically and mentally, from the coronavirus.
