Coronavirus: Skills lost due to COVID-19 school closures will hit output for generations, OECD estimates

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on Tuesday warned that the disruption to education due to school closures as part of efforts to combat COVID-19 would cause a skill loss that could result in a 1.5 per cent drop in global economic output.
