Demonstrators gathered in Portland on Saturday night for the 100th consecutive night of protests against police violence and anti-Black racism. While protesters had originally planned to demonstrate outside a local police precinct, they were debarred from that area of the city by officers in riot gear who shortly thereafter declared the assembly a riot and ordered them to disperse.
