Trump calls shooting of protesters in Kenosha ‘interesting situation’, suggests Rittenhouse could have been killed

U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday, Aug. 31, that the fatal shootings of two protesters and wounding of a third in Kenosha, Wis., was under investigation, calling it an “interesting situation.” He appeared to defend the actions of the alleged shooter, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, as being in self-defence when Trump said he “was in a very bad situation,” being violently attacked by protesters and “could have been killed.”
