Rallies were held in cities across Canada Saturday calling for local officials to defund police services and invest in social services. CUTA move many Canadians support. According to a recent poll conducted on behalf of Global News, 51 per cent of people surveyed support the idea of defunding police and redirecting that cash to other local government services.
