White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany was asked by reporters on Wednesday whether Trump’s administration is “retaliating” against National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Fauci for publicly contradicting with Trump and whether President Trump has confidence in Dr. Fauci. McEnany said Trump has confidence in the advice of medical experts, but “it’s up to the president” to determine what to do with their conclusions.
