Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in downtown Aurora, Colorado on Saturday to demand justice for the death of Elijah McClain, a Black man who died in August 2019 days after an encounter with police. McClain was placed in a chokehold by police as well as injected with a powerful sedative. He was declared brain dead three days after the encounter.
