Ontario’s chief medical officer of health said on Thursday that the province is currently at a “disappointing” plateau in new COVID-19 cases, as opposed to a decline. Ontario reported 413 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Thursday, bringing the provincial total to 24,187 cases. Dr. Williams said they’ll need to monitor the numbers to see if that is the case or if the numbers stay around the same.
