Northumberland County OPP are investigating a sudden death at a County Rd. 2 property near Colborne.
Police say the body of a man was found near an outbuilding by officers responding to the scene Tuesday at about 7 p.m.
Police say there were obvious signs of trauma to the body, but have released no further information. The death is being treated as suspicious, with officers from the Forensic and Criminal Investigations branch involved in the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
