Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam and Minister of Indigenous Services Marc Miller explained the government’s decision to suspend a shipment of eight million N95 masks that did not meet federal standards. Miller said there were a number of issues raised including whether the straps were adequate and concerns over the quality of the filtration.
