Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante announced on Thursday that the city has bought 50,000 protective masks to be distributed for vulnerable citizens and will prioritize Montreal North neighbourhoods in the distribution process as well as increase awareness-raising flyers of the coronavirus pandemic. She added that public health is working with a mobile screening testing team on increasing the testing capacity for Montreal North.
