Speaking to reporters outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said “discussions are ongoing” with the Canadian Football League (CFL) over possible financial support, as sports leagues across North America remain in limbo due to the physical distancing measures put in place by COVID-19.
