Peace River ice jam triggering worst flood since 1934 in northwestern Alberta

Mackenzie County reeve Josh Knelson updated the flooding situation affecting Fort Vermilion and La Crete in northwestern Alberta, where a 40-kilometre long ice jam has formed on the Peace River. Knelson said the last flood of this magnitude was in 1934.
