On Wednesday, Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister announced the Manitoba Gap Protection Program, which would allow small and medium-sized businesses across the province access to a loan of up to $6,000. The program is intended to help businesses that are facing pressures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and will be funded up to $120 million.
