RCMP apprehend suspect after firearms incident

An early morning armed robbery in Sicamous triggered a full scale RCMP manhunt Tuesday in the normal quiet community of Kingfisher near Enderby.
According to Sicamous RCMP when a property representative from a marijuana growing facility responded to an alarm at the site they were confronted by armed suspects.
Allegedly a shot was fire a the representative and the suspects fled in a motor vehicle. The victim was uninjured in the event and the suspect vehicle was later found abandoned near Enderby.
The Southeastern District Emergency Response Team was called into assist Sicamous and North Okanagan RCMP hunt for a man that had fled into the bush on foot.
By 11am Tuesday morning the RCMP had taken the suspect into custody without incident.
