Toronto’s medical officer of health Dr. EIleen de Villa reported on Tuesday that as of 12:30 p.m. ET, the city has a total of 1,449 confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19. She added that there are 142 people hospitalized due to the novel coronavirus and 63 in intensive care.
