A surfer at a beach outside Rome returned to shore recently to find two police officers waiting to remind him of the country’s continuing coronavirus lockdown.
A similar incident occurred on the coast at Quartu Sant’Elena in Sardinia on March 22, where police fined surfers for not complying with stay-home orders.
In the video, shared on March 25, mounted police are seen approaching the water and catching the surfer’s attention.
