During a provincial COVID-19 update on Tuesday, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer Dr. Jennifer Russell announced that physicians would be authorized to see patients virtually or by phone for routine services in order to maintain social distancing measures and assist with the influx of care required by medical professionals.
