With the NHL, NBA, and MLB currently on hold, it’s not just athletes that aren’t able to go to work.
With no games and many facilities being closed, there are no shifts to go around for part time stadium and arena staff.
It’s the same situation many employees from the Peterborough Memorial Centre currently face.
It’s still unclear when they’ll be able to return to their jobs.
