Speaking to reporters on Monday, Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s Chief Provincial Public Health Officer urged people not to give any financial information over the phone to potential scammers, pretending to be Manitoba health officials. Roussin asked that anyone who gets such a call please report them to law enforcement agencies.
