When speaking with reporters on Monday, Ottawa’s chief medical officer Dr. Vera Etches said it is “just a matter of time” until the city sees a COVID-19 case that is related to travel. She also stated that Ottawa is ensuring they are prepared to handle any potential cases from returning travellers.
