COVID-19: B.C. ‘in contact’ with Pacific Northwest amid first U.S. virus death

On Saturday, British Columbia’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said that the province has been “in contact” with the United States amid ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak, and that they are “watching very carefully” after the first U.S. death was reported in Washington state, which shares a border with B.C.
