Trent University is marking a milestone, the 50th anniversary of its Indigenous studies program. To help mark the occasion Trent is holding a two-day conference, co-hosted by the Canadian Indigenous Native Studies Association. One of the keynote speakers is Sylvia Maracle, a Mohawk from Tyendinaga territory near Belleville, Ont.
