Indigenous Services minister says meeting with Mohawk a chance to talk

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller said Saturday at Tyendinaga that his meeting with the Mohawk First Nation over the ongoing blockades was a “chance to talk” with a group of people who “haven’t felt part of this country, they felt like allies at times and they’ve felt betrayed.” He said all of Canada is hurting with shortages and other issues as a result of the blockades, but they can’t move forward “without dialogue.”
