Dr. David Williams, Chief Medical Officer of Health for the province of Ontario, told reporters Thursday it would be a mistake to assume Wuhan and the wider Hubei province are synonymous – just as it would be a mistake for someone outside of Canada to assume Toronto referred to all of Ontario, as well.
