At least three people died and around a dozen were injured as tornadoes and severe storms pummeled the southeast U.S. Dec. 16. The National Weather Service said several tornadoes touched down in Mississippi. Reports said one person died in Vernon Parish, Louisiana and two others died in Alabama.
