Australia wildfires continue to spread, blanket cities in hazardous smoke

Wildfires that began in November continued to spread across New South Wales, Australia on Thursday, which have left cities blanketed in hazardous smoke and haze. As of December 5, over 100 bush and grass fires were burning with the most severe blazes surrounding Sydney, the state’s capital.
