Puppies join B.C. hospital superbug ‘sniffing’ team

At a press conference held Friday, two English Springer Spaniel puppies were introduced as the newest members of the K9 Scent Detection Program. The dogs sniff out the deadly C. difficile bacteria at Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital.
