More than 100 people in Cobourg gathered Sunday to remember those lost, who have lost and to keep their memories alive.

Participants walked to the Port Hope East Beach where names of loved ones were read, youth dancers performed and biodegradable balloons with names of loved ones were released.

Organizer Kim Robinson, who lost her daughter Charlie, says the event helps to heal and remember.
