Protesters in Hong Kong on Friday damaged the Sha Tin Metro station, after Carrie Lam’s government said it would invoke a British colonial-era law to allow authorities to make emergency regulations including banning face masks, which have been widely used by protesters to hide their identities over nearly four months of unrest.
