A South Okanagan man who smashed his car into an occupied phone booth has been found guilty of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. 69-year-old Roland Giroux was sentenced in Penticton court to a one year suspended sentence with strict conditions, including having no contact with his victim, Warren Spence, and not traveling to Coalmont, B.C., the small town near Princeton where the assault took place.
