From dark day to giant leap, how Avro Arrow engineers joined NASA to help win the race to the moon

When the Avro Arrow program was cancelled in 1959, the brain drain began. NASA traveled north and quickly scooped up the best and brightest Arrow engineers, gave them green cards and moved their families south to join the space race. Mike Armstrong reports.
