It has been six weeks since the bridge connecting Ile-Mercier to Ile-Bizard was closed due to flooding. The bridge re-opened late Thursday afternoon, to the delight of residents who live there. As Global’s Dan Spector explains, now the attention will turn towards cleanup efforts as residents try to get back to normal.
