Quebec tables bill banning religious symbols at public jobs
Description
March 28, 2019
The Quebec government has tabled new legislation that would ban some public sector employees from wearing religious symbols at work. This isn't the first time the province has tried to push through a so-called secularism law. But as Mike Armstrong explains, Premier François Legault is hoping his strategy will finally settle the debate over religious symbols in public places.
