Walking for Samantha, and the Canadian Mental Health Association

In 2017 Peterborough-resident Neil Hamilton watched a young woman die in front of him in fatal car crash on Hwy. 7. He says the experience took a toll on his mental health, leading to bouts of anxiety and depression. Now Hamilton is trying to move forward, one step at a time. He’s embarking on what’s he’s dubbed, “Walking with Samantha,” a cross-Canada hike that he hopes will help him heal while raising money for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
