City of Peterborough pitches new Kitchen Waste Program

The City of Peterborough is taking a second swing at trying to get a Kitchen Waste Program. The previous plan was scrapped after the provincial government cut the funding last summer. Now, the City is trying to get funding from the federal government. Virgina Swinson is with the City, and says they’re looking to get council’s approval at the next city hall meeting.
