Peterborough Public Health says plant-based diet is crucial to combat climate change

A recent report states that a vegetarian – or any diet that features more vegetables than meats – is crucial when it comes to battling climate change.

The Peterborough Publich Health Unit says meat production not only uses up a lot of natural resources, but the methane gas produced by cattle is a large contributer to global warming.

Laura Kennedy, registered dietitian, joined The Morning Show on Monday to help people ease into a more plant-based diet.
