Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques, who was selected by the Canadian Space Agency to be one of the 14 members of the 20th NASA astronaut class in 2009, is an engineer, a medical doctor and holds a PhD in astrophysics. He’s also a commercial pilot and has an advanced scuba-diving licence.
